I’m on a quest. A quest to find the beauty behind the Chicken Tostada salad. I’ve had the dish 4 times now, giving it a rating of 3.9, 4.0 and 4.1. Eat Club Members on the other hand have given this meal an average of 4.5. The rating differential has been bothering me. Is it my fault? Is it their fault? Is it society’s fault? I’ve been pondering these questions for the last week and will admit, sometimes it takes more than a handful of experiences for me to grasp the genius behind certain creations. Example: A young me once called Pink Floyd overrated. Then one day I decided to do away with my past opinions and gave Dark Side of the Moon my full/undivided attention…. Pink Floyd is now one of my favorite bands. Will the same occur with the Chicken Tostada Salad? Who knows. All I know is this dish is trending in the right direction. Rating. 4.2. Experience 4.1 (Not in A1).
